The transmitter

The transmitter connects the sensor underwear and the alarm. The alarm works wirelessly, so once the receiver is switched on and the charged transmitter is attached to the sensor underwear, it is ready for use.

Charging the transmitter battery

The transmitter contains a rechargeable battery, so you never need to open it. When you receive the bedwetting alarm again, or if it has not been used for a longer period, the LED ring will flash red at regular intervals. This means that the battery is empty and needs to be charged. Charging is very simple.

  • Click the transmitter onto the top of the receiver using the press studs.

  • Position the transmitter so that the name Uriflex can be read the right way up.

  • The green LED ring changes into a glowing line directly underneath the transmitter.

  • The light pulses while charging. When the battery is full, the strip lights up solid green.

Please note! If the transmitter labeled “Uriflex” is clicked onto the receiver upside down, the light will not change and the battery will not charge. Turn the transmitter around so that the text “Uriflex” can be read correctly, then click the transmitter back onto the receiver. Charging will begin.

Tip! Always detach the transmitter from the sensor pants in the morning and click it onto the receiver. This ensures that the battery stays fully charged and prevents the transmitter from accidentally ending up in the washing machine. That is not good for the transmitter.

Test the transmitter.

The alarm will sound when something metallic, such as a paper clip or a pair of scissors, is pressed against both snap buttons of the orange transmitter at the same time. Of course, the receiver must be switched on and the transmitter battery must not be empty.

Pairing the new transmitter with the receiver

The receiver and transmitter are paired before shipping and are ready to use immediately.

However, if you are using a new transmitter (for example, because the previous one was lost), it must be paired with the receiver before use. This is very easy if you follow the steps below:

  1. Press the “Pair” symbol on the underside of the receiver until the LED ring flashes blue.

  2. Use a pen or a paper clip to press the point between the two switches on the transmitter (see illustration) until you hear a beep. The LED ring will then light up green.

The receiver and the transmitter are now paired and ready for use. To test them, you can connect the two switches with a metal object. The alarm will then be triggered.

Please note: Pairing is only necessary if you want to use a new transmitter with the receiver.
