Training procedure

Before going to bed, the child puts on pants.

The child clicks the transmitter onto the pants.

The vibrating element can help the child wake up better. It can also replace the sound alarm when brothers and sisters sleep together in the same room.

If the child urinates, the receiver will ring and wake the child up. Waking up stops the flow of urine and the child can go to the toilet. When the flow of urine is stopped, the bed will no longer be completely wet. After a few days of practice, only the pants are a little wet and the bed linen does not need to be changed.

If the pants get wet, the child will remove the transmitter. This breaks the connection to the receiver. The child can then switch off the alarm.

Many children already have an alarm shortly after falling asleep. This indicates a low bladder capacity. The bladder is quickly full! During this sleeping phase, a child sleeps very deeply and does not wake up easily.

I am now going to the ski camp........ without worrying.........

Bladder training
Drinking bottle bedwetting training

Many children drink too little during the day. Children think: "If I drink less, I will have to go to the toilet less". A clever thought in itself but...... the less you drink, the smaller your bladder becomes.

In most children, bedwetting, the bladder is too small. If the bladder is too small and can stretch badly, the bladder can only store a little urine and you wake up earlier. Many children are afraid to drink a lot, but this only makes the problem worse because their bladder only gets smaller that way.

Drinking bottle

That is why we offer a drinking training programme. When you rent or buy a wake-up alarm device, we give each child a funny drinking bottle in cheerful colours. The bottle is transparent. The child can see so well how much he or she has drunk per day.

The child should take this bottle with him/her to school, sports and outside to play.

In the training manual we try to explain the function of the bladder to the child in a fun way using a balloon. We also suggest how much the child should ideally drink per day.

Personal support

The wake-up alarm is not a cure, but offers a training opportunity to fully control the bladder sphincter muscle even during sleep. It is important that the child is motivated to get rid of the bedwetting. This training can be particularly intensive and requires teamwork between the supervisor and user.

We offer you a training book with practical tips during the training. We know from experience that especially the first month can be very exhausting. That's why we are happy to accompany you personally during this difficult time.

Our experience is that a motivated child can complete the training much better and faster with the right care.
