Bedwetting alarm Liberty
Pjama pants and shorts ensure that you feel dry, comfortable, and secure. Sleepover or school trip? No worries! Thanks to the discreet design and look of Pjama, no one will notice that you’re wearing protective pajamas.
With our new alarm, you get treatment and protection in one. The flat, small transmitter is attached to the pajama pants with two snap buttons. The pajama pants are equipped with moisture sensors. If urine enters the pajama pants at night, the alarm is triggered. This immediately wakes the user, who should reflexively contract the bladder sphincter. The user must get out of bed to turn off the alarm and then fully empty their bladder in the toilet.
The pajamas are made of soft Tencel, a breathable, waterproof membrane, and a super-absorbent material that ensures urine stays in the pants. All fabrics are OEKO-TEX certified.

The pants
The set consists of 2 pairs of pants. You can choose between short pants, shorts, or long pants. It also includes a waterproof storage bag and the alarm with transmitter.
We know—it’s super cool and a bit strange at the same time. How can pajamas stay dry when you get wet in them?
The pajamas are made of soft Tencel, a breathable, waterproof membrane, and a super-absorbent material that ensures urine stays inside the pajamas. All fabrics are OEKO-TEX certified.
To ensure the best comfort and effective use of the pajamas, do not wear underwear underneath and do not tuck a shirt into the pants. Make sure you have the correct size so the pajamas fit well at the waist. Use the waistband to adjust if necessary.
In case of an accident, the outside of the pajamas stays dry and protects the bedding. However, the child will feel that the inside of the pajamas is wet. The pajamas should not feel dry against the skin, but should provide feedback to the user when they become wet. Waking up during bedwetting is important for the child to overcome the problem. The pajamas can be an excellent addition to other treatment methods.

If you don’t want to wear pajama pants or shorts, there are also stylish and practical underwear options. The underwear looks like regular underwear, except that special urine moisture sensors are sewn into the waistband, which connect to the alarm clock with two snap buttons.
You can easily and independently change your underwear at night, just like with regular briefs. You no longer need to wear a diaper or pad. This is important for your confidence during training. Please note:
These underwear do not absorb liquid like pajama pants or shorts do. It is advisable to protect the bed.

Download our Pjama smartphone app to track your child’s progress. The app serves as a paperless scorecard. You can enter nightly data into the app. You can view the data and, as a parent, you will be notified if your child triggers an alarm at night. You will receive this alert on your smartphone. You can choose between a vibration or an audible alarm.

How to wash your pajama pants
Pjama is a washable and reusable product that is easy to use. To ensure maximum product lifespan, please follow these guidelines:

-
If you have used the alarm sensor, please remove it before washing.
-
Wash the product with similar colors.
-
Do not wash your pajamas together with sharp objects such as zippers or other metal parts.
-
Wash the product inside out.
-
Wash the product at a maximum of 60°C.
-
Finish the wash cycle with a high spin cycle.
-
Dry it outdoors or at room temperature. You can also tumble dry your pajamas, but make sure the temperature does not exceed 60°C.
The special properties of the pajamas result in a longer drying time compared to other textile garments. The product must not be dry cleaned, treated with fabric softener, or ironed.
Longer drying time
Pjama contains an absorbent material that affects the drying time. How long it takes depends on several factors, such as the humidity in the room, the room temperature, and the effectiveness of the spin cycle in the washing machine.
To keep the drying time as short as possible, we recommend:
-
Turn your pajamas inside out when washing, so the waterproof membrane doesn’t trap moisture inside the pants.
-
Finish the wash cycle with a high spin cycle.
-
After spinning, the pajamas should be dried inside out. If you want to tumble dry your pajamas, make sure the temperature does not exceed 60°C.
Bladder training
Many children do not drink enough during the day. Children often think: “If I drink less, I won’t have to go to the toilet as often.” It sounds logical, but... the less you drink, the smaller your bladder becomes.
For most children who wet the bed, bladder capacity is too low. If the bladder is too small and cannot stretch well, it can only hold a small amount of urine. That’s why bedwetting often occurs early in the night. Many children find it difficult to drink enough, which worsens the problem because their bladder becomes even smaller.

Water bottle
That’s why we offer drinking training. When renting or buying an alarm device, we give each child a fun water bottle in cheerful colors. The bottle is transparent, so the child can easily see how much they have drunk each day.
The child can take this bottle to school, to sports, and to play outside.
In the training manual, we try to explain the function of the bladder to the child in a playful way using a balloon. We also provide recommendations on how much the child should ideally drink per day.
Personal support
The bedwetting alarm is not a cure, but offers a training opportunity to fully control the bladder sphincter even during sleep. It is important that the child is motivated to overcome bedwetting. This training can be particularly intense and requires teamwork between the caregiver and the user.
We offer you a training book with practical tips for the training. From experience, we know that the first month can be especially exhausting. That’s why we are happy to provide you with personal support during this challenging time.
Our experience shows that a motivated child with the right support can complete the training much better and faster.
