Why wash at 40°C and not at 60°C?
The incontinence briefs can be washed at 40 to a maximum of 60°C. However, it is better to limit the temperature to 40°C. The reason for this is the special absorbent insert in the pants. At excessively high temperatures, this special layer can clump together and no longer feel evenly distributed. Its absorbency may also be reduced. In case of heavy soiling, you can pre-treat the underwear with a stain-removal spray.
Is 40°C enough?
Contrary to popular belief, it is not necessary to always wash underwear at 60°C. In the past, this was the standard, but today this is no longer the case. Modern detergents are strong enough to clean perfectly even at lower temperatures. In addition, washing too hot causes your underwear to wear out more quickly.
Although 40°C is sufficient to get your underwear clean, bacteria in the underwear are not killed at this temperature. It is therefore advisable to wash your underwear at 60°C from time to time. Can you not wash your underwear at 60°C? Then place it in a plastic bag and put it in the freezer for a few days. The cold will kill the bacteria.

Remove the transmitter from the sensor underwear immediately after the alarm goes off. This extends the battery life and prevents the transmitter from being washed accidentally.
